At the school, volunteer parents prepare and serve warm, nutritious meals for students each day, thanks to Catholic Relief Services' "All Pikin For Learn" project, which translates as, "Every Child Should Be Educated."

The project is part of the McGovern-Dole International Food for Education and Child Nutrition initiative sponsored and funded by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA).

The school feeding and nutrition program uses school lunches as an incentive to increase school enrollment and keep students in school.

The project benefits over 32,000 primary school-aged children attending 192 schools. It also provides training for 450 teachers, and strengthens the capacity of local school management committees.
